Only four prices exist: 3, 6, 9, or 12 UC. A longer answer never costs more, and an interaction that runs six actions costs exactly what one action costs. A request arriving straight from an AI tool, such as Claude Desktop, Cursor or a ChatGPT connector, with no question to answer, is 3 UC.
A worked month
Say your assistant handles 4,000 interactions a month. If every one is a plain answer, that is 12,000 UC; if every one both acts and looks something up, it is 48,000 UC. Your real month lands between the two, and Growth's 110,000 UC covers it either way.

- What is a usage credit (UC)?
- A usage credit is the currency of the posted price menu. An interaction costs 3 UC if the assistant answered, 6 if it also took an action, 9 if it also looked something up, and 12 if it did both, never more, whatever the reply's length or the number of actions. You pay for usage, not per user.
- What happens when I run out of usage credits mid-month?
- No surprises, and we never bill retroactively. You get dashboard and email warnings at 80% and 95% of your included usage credits. At 100%, your assistant pauses by default and your data and conversation history stay readable, or you can opt in to pay-as-you-go overage and keep running, billed at $0.012 per extra unit on your next invoice. No surprise invoices, ever.
- Does bringing my own AI keys (BYOK) actually save me money?
- Your plan price doesn't change, and neither does the price of an interaction. With your own keys you bring your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Bedrock-EU account, and your model usage bills straight to your provider at your negotiated rate instead of to us. The posted prices are identical on both routes, because an interaction is priced by what it did, whoever paid the model bill. What changes is your provider invoice, not your Syncanix one. Bringing your own keys is recommended at Scale and Enterprise, and managed access stays available on every tier.
- What is the annual prepay discount?
- Annual prepay saves 10% across Starter, Growth, and Scale; 2- and 3-year prepay terms save 18% and 25%. Enterprise rates are negotiated; multi-year locks follow the same schedule.
- How do I cancel?
- Self-serve in your dashboard at any time. Monthly plans stop at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans are non-refundable but you keep service through the paid term. Your catalog stays exportable forever; no lock-in.
- What is included with Enterprise?
- Private-network deployment, single sign-on, a signed DPA, the SOC 2 evidence pack (Type I targeted Q3 2026), a custom signed SLA, a dedicated customer success manager, a self-hosted connection option, and multi-year rate locks. - Does a heavier user cost more than a light one?
- Yes, and that's the point. Someone who asks 100 questions and triggers dozens of actions runs up far more interactions than someone who asks one, and your bill reflects that. What they can't do is make a single interaction cost more than 12 UC: the price menu is closed, so heavy usage shows up as more interactions, never as a bigger number per interaction.
